Simon Kelly, Registered Physiotherapist
Reg Physiotherapist, MSc Physiotherapy, BSc Physiology. Certified IMS dry needling practitioner
Simon graduated from the National University of Ireland, Galway with a bachelor of science degree majoring in Physiology. He then completed a masters in physiotherapy at Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh, United Kingdom.
He spent several years in a United Kingdom based company, honing his skills treating a wide variety of neuromusculoskeletal and orthopedic conditions. He also practiced in Ireland in a musculoskeletal private practice before making his way over to this side of the pond. For the past 4 years he has been working in a private clinic in Surrey which yielded an award for one of the top 3 rated physios in Surrey in 2018 & 2019.
His treatment method is a hands on approach coupled with intramuscular stimulation (dry needling) and modalities. Paramount for Simon is the transference of knowledge and education regarding diagnosis, time frames and an adherence to a holistic client specific treatment plan to ensure long term results.
Simon is motivated by addressing the root causes of injuries rather than relying heavily on the pharmaceutical industry for only short term symptomatic relief.
Having personally received physiotherapy treatment for sports related injuries in the past, he knows the barriers encountered both as a patient and as a physiotherapist. He takes great pride in supporting clients through their personal rehabilitation journeys.
In his spare time he frequents the gym, skies, cycles and plays hurling (the national sport of Ireland). He is very fond of all outdoor activities. His motto “ A healthy body is a healthy mind”.
