Matthew Lacasse, Registered Physiotherapist

Registered Physiotherapist, MScPT, BSc

Matt was born and raised in North Vancouver, BC. He completed his Bachelors of Science in Anatomy and Cellular Biology at McGill University in Montreal where he also served as the student therapist for the men’s varsity rugby and soccer teams. Needing a new adventure Matt then moved to Scotland to pursue his Masters of Science in Physiotherapy at Robert Gordon University.

He is inspired by the resiliency of the human body and motivates his clients to take on a positive and active role in their biopsychosocial health regardless of age, condition, or previous level of activity. He combines manual therapy, personalized exercise prescription and pain neuroscience education to provide his clients with the tools necessary to self-manage and get back to living their best lives.

Matt is currently pursuing his Diploma in Advanced Manual Manipulative Therapy in Orthopaedics, Intramuscular Stimulation Dry Needling and further continuing studies in Pain Science.

He also has recent work experience as a physiotherapist at Lions Gate Hospital in North Vancouver further expanding his scope of practice.

When not in the clinic Matt can be found playing for Norvan FC in the Vancouver Metro Soccer League, training to qualify for the Boston Marathon in 2019 and exploring all that the West Coast has to offer!
