Matt was born and raised in North Vancouver, BC. He completed his Bachelors of Science in Anatomy and Cellular Biology at McGill University in Montreal where he also served as the student therapist for the men’s varsity rugby and soccer teams. Needing a new adventure Matt then moved to Scotland to pursue his Masters of Science in Physiotherapy at Robert Gordon University.
He is inspired by the resiliency of the human body and motivates his clients to take on a positive and active role in their biopsychosocial health regardless of age, condition, or previous level of activity. Matt uses an evidence-based approach combined with manual therapy, personalized exercise prescription and IMS/dry needling to provide his clients with the tools necessary to self-manage and get back to living their best lives.
Matt has taken continuing education courses in the treatment and management of the lumbar spine and shoulder complex and is certified in IMS/dry needling.
He also has recent work experience as a physiotherapist at Lions Gate Hospital working extensively with patients undergoing hip, knee and shoulder replacements.
When not in the clinic Matt can be found playing in the Vancouver Metro Soccer League, training to qualify for the Boston Marathon and exploring all that the West Coast has to offer!
