Lisa Cornish, Registered Physiotherapist

On maternity leave

Lisa completed both her Master’s degree in Physiotherapy and her Bachelor’s degree in Human Kinetics from the University of British Columbia. She has experience working with a wide variety of clients, having worked in both sports and orthopedic private practice clinics.

She enjoys helping people of all levels and abilities reach their goals. Her individualized treatment approach focuses on combining advanced hands-on manual therapy with client education and an active rehabilitation exercise program. Her special interest is working with runners, being a former sprinter herself.

Lisa’s commitment to the community involves providing physiotherapy to athletic events - such as BC summer Games. She is committed to continuing education in order to remain up-to-date on the latest findings in physiotherapy practice. She has completed her training in IMS and is currently pursuing certification in acupuncture through Acupuncture Canada as well as focusing on her area of interest, concussion work.

On her days off, she can be found walking the seawall, playing ultimate frisbee and learning to play squash.
