Dahra Zamudio, Registered Physiotherapist
Dahra graduated from the University of California, Davis with a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Biology. She then completed her Doctor of Physiotherapy degree at the University of Melbourne in Australia. Afterwards, she spent two years working in a rural hospital in the Victorian coastal town of Wonthaggi, where she worked across a variety of settings including acute, inpatient rehab, and outpatient care. She is looking forward to integrating these skills into the private practice setting.
Dahra also has a passion for sports and athletic performance. In Australia, she worked for a competitive Australian Rules Football team where she provided injury advice and prevention, athletic taping, and basic first aid. Additionally, during her undergraduate studies at UC Davis, she was on a full college scholarship playing NCAA Division I tennis.
Her treatment method involves a mix of manual therapy with exercise prescription. She believes in utilizing a holistic approach to enable you to find your optimal movement and achieve your goals.
Outside of the clinic, Dahra can be found playing tennis, exploring new hikes around Vancouver and BC, and learning how to snowboard in the winter powder.
